Description

Phenolic Resin Hardwood Anti-Slip Mesh Faced Plywood | 9mm - Product Video

Specifications:

Phenolic Resin Mesh Faced Hardwood Plywood is manufactured with a high-quality WBP hardwood plywood core. It features an anti-slip mesh pattern on one side and a smooth film-faced finish on the reverse.

This plywood is designed for a wide range of internal and external applications, including farm work, shop fitting, closed trailer bases, enclosed walkways, and more.

EN314-2 Class 2 refers to the glue bond, which is suitable for humid conditions and protected external applications. It can resist short-term weather exposure, but all boards must be face and edge treated when used externally.

Please note: these boards are water resistant, not waterproof. They can be used externally where properly treated and protected, but they are not suitable for exposed trailers, open-back trailers, or areas subject to heavy water exposure.

Similar to branded boards such as Buffalo Board, Phenolic Mesh Faced Hardwood Plywood is manufactured to high standards and offers good resistance to corrosion and moisture. This makes it a durable choice for many internal and protected external uses.

Phenolic Hardwood Plywood is suitable for enclosed trucks, enclosed trailers, and applications where the board will not be exposed to heavy water or long-term heat. For exposed trailer use or open-back trailers, please see our Anti-Slip Phenolic Birch Plywood options.

Our Phenolic Mesh Faced Hardwood Plywood is available in 9mm, 12mm, and 18mm thicknesses, with a variety of sheet sizes available. Custom cutting options are also available on request.

What materials are used?

WBP hardwood plywood core, phenolic resin coating, mesh pattern on one face.

Is it waterproof or moisture resistant?

The phenolic coating gives strong resistance to moisture and water, especially when faces & edges are sealed.

Is it slip resistant?

Yes — the mesh pattern provides grip, especially when wet.

Where can it be used (applications)?

Trailer floors, enclosed walkways, shop fitting, flooring in humid environments, internal & semi‑protected external uses.

What standard or certification does it follow?

Classified under EN314‑2‑2 (suitable for humid / limited external use).

How should it be sealed for outdoor use?

Seal all exposed edges and surfaces with phenolic edge seal paint or suitable protective coating.

Can I cut it and how to fix it?
