Marine Plywood and Moisture Resistance
Marine Plywood is manufactured to provide a higher level of moisture resistance than standard plywood. Its durable adhesive and carefully constructed veneer core make it suitable for projects where occasional exposure to moisture or humid conditions may occur.
However, Marine Plywood is not completely waterproof in its unfinished condition. For prolonged exterior use, regular water exposure or marine environments, all faces, edges, cut-outs and drilled holes should be properly sealed with a suitable exterior-grade coating.
Regular inspection and maintenance may also be required to help protect the board and extend its lifespan.
Please note that the term Marine Plywood does not mean the board can be permanently submerged or left continuously exposed to the weather without suitable treatment.
Choose our Marine Plywood boards and sheets for a reliable combination of strength, stability and improved moisture resistance.
Please note that plywood is a natural wood product, so slight variations in grain, colour and surface appearance may occur between sheets.
