Standard Hardboard Sheets
Specifications
Hardboard is a traditional board commonly used for floor covering and levelling of old floor boards. The clean smooth surface coupled with a more rigid and gripping under side gives a solid base and a blank canvas allowing for the application of various floor coverings of your choice. A Ring Shanked Nail or Staple will still be required to ensure the longevity of the placement of your Hardboard on any permanent fixtures. The fine wood fibres used in the manufacturing of Hardboard makes it a very cost effective choice, this also makes the product extremely versatile for a number of functions and applications.
Examples of these applications include floor covering, general decorative projects, signs, displays, doors, panels, backing for wardrobes, cabinets and bottom of drawers, etc. Hardboard is pressed to become extremely thin, which makes it very adaptable to conventional wood working tools and offers flexibility that some boards may not be able to provide, making it the ideal choice for certain projects. The face of the board can be painted to customise any board for furniture or signage, or even as an alternative to traditional flooring.
