Description

The Optimaxx PZ Countersunk Wood Screws are designed for strength, speed, and reliability in a wide range of applications. Made from hardened steel with a double reinforced collar, these screws provide exceptional durability and reduce the risk of snapping during use. They are suitable for hardwood, softwood, MDF, chipboard, PVCu, and other sheet materials, making them a versatile choice for both professional and DIY projects.

Each screw features a sharp slash point and saw-tooth thread design that ensures an immediate start, even on hard or smooth surfaces, while preventing timber from splitting. The self-countersinking head allows for a neat, flush finish without the need for pre-drilling. A special lubricant coating on the thread helps achieve faster, smoother insertion with less effort.

The deep Pozi drive (PZ2) provides secure bit engagement for maximum torque transfer, minimising the risk of slipping or cam-out. These screws are suitable for use with screwdrivers, combi drills, and impact drivers, and a PZ2 bit is included in the pack.
