Our high-quality Shuttering Plywood boards provide excellent strength, stability, and value, making them suitable for concrete formwork, temporary construction work, site protection, and a wide range of general building applications.

Each board is manufactured from multiple thin layers of wood veneer. The veneers are bonded together with the grain direction of each layer positioned at an angle to the next. This cross-layered construction improves the board’s rigidity and impact resistance while helping to reduce the risk of splitting, cracking, twisting, or warping during installation and use.

Shuttering Plywood is designed primarily for practical construction applications where strength and reliability are more important than decorative appearance. The board can withstand the demands of busy building sites and provides a stable surface for forming concrete, creating temporary structures, and protecting floors, walls, and working areas.

The plywood offers a degree of moisture resistance, making it suitable for temporary use in damp construction environments. However, it is not completely waterproof. For prolonged exterior use or continued exposure to moisture, all faces and cut edges should be properly sealed and maintained.

Construction Grade

Shuttering Plywood is a practical construction-grade board designed for structural, temporary, and general-purpose applications.

The faces may contain natural colour variations, knots, patches, repairs, filler, and other surface imperfections. These characteristics do not normally affect the board’s suitability for shuttering, formwork, hoarding, or general construction work.

Shuttering Plywood is not generally intended for high-quality decorative applications where a completely smooth or uniform finish is required. However, it may be painted or coated when necessary for temporary structures, site signage, protection boards, or other practical uses.
